Analyze Your Model With a Single Click
While your CAD software is open, send the part or assembly to VX CostEstimator with one click. Skip file export, STEP generation or re-import — go straight into cost analysis.
Native integration inside Creo Parametric. VX CostEstimator adds its own VIAMETRIX tab to Creo Parametric, right next to the Applications tab. It lets you launch a cost analysis without leaving Creo. Clicking the button opens VX CostEstimator automatically inside Creo's embedded browser and instantly analyzes the active part or assembly.
The same experience in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling. Click any of the Machining, Sheet Metal, Welding, Assembly (BOM) or Dashboard buttons, and the open model is automatically analyzed in the browser under that module — no file export required.
Secure cloud integration with Onshape. Connect your account once through Onshape's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow; then simply paste the part or assembly link. Your password is never shared with VX CostEstimator.

The moment analysis finishes, you have three things in hand: a rotatable 3D model on screen, a numeric breakdown, and exportable files.
The PDF quote report includes company name, material, cost breakdown and a 3D screenshot, and can be sent straight to the customer. The BOM table exports to Excel; for sheet metal parts, the flat pattern is exported as DXF/DWG on separate layers.
Every module keeps its own history of past analyses; records reopen with a single click, and past quotes can be compared side by side to track pricing consistency.
